![With Will Levis On A Bye, Jordan Love Stepped Up To Deliver Week 5’s Most Mind-Bendingly Awful Interception]()
![Jordan Love]()
Nashville is rocking this weekend in the name of football. As an added bonus to Saturday's absurd scene of the
Vanderbilt goalposts being carried down Broadway after the Commadores' upset over Alabama, the locals don't have to witness their Tennessee Titans suit up for an NFL game. More importantly, Will Levis is not putting anyone in imminent danger of laughing themselves to death with
his latest turnover-prone shenanigans.

I hope the bye allows Levis to heal his shoulder injury suffered this past Monday night, because he's nothing if not comically entertaining. The point here is, somebody had to step up to take up Levis' mantle of "awesomely bad turnover-worthy play." And boy oh boy did Jordan Love deliver for the Green Bay Packers.
Or should I say, Love delivered for the Los Angeles Rams. An unexpected hit knocked him off balance near the back of the end zone, so Love did his darnedest to throw the ball away and avoid a safety. Problem was, it went straight into the arms of the Rams' Jaylen McCollough for a 4-yard pick-six.

One of the easiest, shortest pick-sixes I've ever seen.
Love might've come back a little too soon from his sprained MCL. He doesn't look anything like the MVP-caliber quarterback who closed out last season so strong and undressed the Cowboys in Dallas on Wild Card Weekend. I could write off Week 1 as the Weird Brazil Game and attribute some of those struggles to rust. But Love threw three picks against the Vikings last week, and just isn't terribly sharp across the board.
Even his best play of the first half was a rather ill-advised throw into triple coverage.

Maybe a lack of mobility and not quite trusting that knee is leading to some of Love's woes. He looks a step slower than we're accustomed to seeing. OK sorry. Catching myself here. What a terrible play by Jordan Love. LOL. The Rams have a bunch of no-names and rookies on their defense. With Green Bay's weapons, Love should be lighting them up. It's not like LA offers some massive home-field advantage, either. This should be a tight one, and Love's ghastly giveaway might be the difference in the end that sends the Packers home with a disappointing loss as road favorites.
It's making me laugh quite a bit to see how people are totally likening Love's gaffe to what we've seen from Levis this year.

You get the picture.
Hang in there, J-Love. You've got this. You'll bounce back when you're a little healthier. I think?
