![Kyler Murray run]()
Known video game fanatic Kyler Murray looks like somebody straight out of
Madden with a 102 speed rating. We hadn't seen the Arizona Cardinals quarterback find the end zone as a runner to this point in the season, but in Sunday's must-win game against the NFC West rival 49ers, Kyler exploded for a 50-yard touchdown scamper to quiet the Bay Area crowd.
The craziest part? Kyler is so stupid athletic that he knew he was going to score a mere 10 yards past the line of scrimmage:

I can't fathom what it's like, knowing you're on an NFL field with some of the greatest, biggest, strongest athletes in the world, and you still have 40 yards between you and the goal line and you
know you're gonna get there. Like for a fact. What the hell?

Imagine if somebody took a better angle on Kyler from the 49ers secondary and laid him out. Or if he somehow got caught from behind. If anything this demonstrates Kyler's self-awareness and fine understanding of his own physical capabilities, which are borderline limitless.
Haters might say the live game footage was on fast-forward. It merely appears that way. Kyler reached the fastest top-end speed by a QB in eight years on the play.

I get that Kyler isn't a big dude by NFL standards and the Cardinals don't want to expose him to too many hits. That said, I don't think they're capitalizing on the quarterback run game enough. We'll see if this play is an aberration of a designed run, or if Kyler gets more cracks at taking off with the ball outside of a scramble drill.
There have been several crazy plays this NFL Sunday. Not sure anything's going to top what Kyler just did. May not translate to a win for the Cards, but hey, with all the flaws on this roster, they at least have a ridiculously explosive, dual-threat franchise quarterback.
