Taylor Sheridan, the brilliant mind behind the
Yellowstone universe, has decided to add "creator of culinary experience" to his resume.
The creator of
Yellowstone and its spinoffs (
1883,
1923, The Madison) is getting himself into yet another western-themed endeavor. This time around though, his creation won't be viewed on a screen. It'll instead be experienced in real life at the Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sheridan and his Four Sixes Ranch have partnered with the Wynn Las Vegas to create the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, which will be a "pop-up" restaurant that sets out to embody the boldness of both the legendary Texas ranch and the western way of life. The COO of North America, Wynn Resorts, Brian Gullbrants, says that the restaurant will offer up that patented western feel through both its menu and ambiance:
"Our longstanding partnership with Taylor Sheridan and David Glasser brings another one-of-a-kind experience exclusive to Wynn Las Vegas, Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse. This distinctive, limited-time pop-up puts an emphasis on Western authenticity paired with an unforgettable dinner and cocktail menu."
The Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse will emphasize using ingredients from the state of Texas. In fact, the steaks and cuts that will be available for those dining will most likely be from the Four Sixes Ranch itself. Chef David Middleton will be the one crafting the menu, which will offer everything from a Branded 28-ounce Cowboy Steak to Tumbleweed Banana Pudding.
Taylor Sheridan is certainly looking forward to working with Chef Middleton, because as he describes it, the restaurant and its menu items will be an extension of the director's love for storytelling:
"The Four Sixes Ranch has been a proud purveyor to a selection of Wynn's fine dining restaurants and now that partnership will be showcased in the form of a pop-up restaurant of its own. Dedicated to honoring authentic cuisine, the menu highlights time-honored recipes on the ranch, elevated to an art form by Chef David Middleton. The passions in my life are telling stories and food and with each plate served at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, Chef David and I get to do both."
The dining experience, which will only be available for a limited time, will start hosting for dinner on September 16th inside Wynn Tower Suites. It's not known how long the pop-up will last, so if you consider yourself a Taylor Sheridan, it might be best to book a reservation sooner rather than later.
