South Bend wasn't ready for that MACtion, baby!

Actually, Notre Dame paid almost one and a half million dollars to have a doormat of an opponent and got more than they bargained for.

Shout out to Northern Illinois for going into Notre Dame Stadium and beating the brakes off the Fighting Irish, who on an annual basis prove time and again that they have nary as much fight in them as their corny-a** leprechaun mascot. They're more liable to try to run away from an altercation than take the fight to an opponent.
One road win at Texas A&M against an overrated, hyped-up quarterback prospect last week, and everyone's ready to crown the Irish. Has any team failed to meet preseason expectations more often than Notre Dame in the modern era? People are asking. People ask every year. The answer is the same. The pollsters don't care. They still rank the Irish way too high without fail. It's pathetic. Notre Dame was a f*****g 28-point favorite. What a fraud of a "powerhouse" program. LOL.
You know what's more pathetic, though? How Saturday's officiating crew tried to rob the Huskies in broad daylight of a clear victory. A third-down run with less than a minute left should have, beyond a shadow of a doubt, netted the visitors a first down.

They could've run out the rest of the clock, and kicked the winning field goal as time expired. Instead, another overrated QB Riley Leonard got a last-gasp possession, where the Huskies D stood strong before a blocked 62-yard kick as time expired.

Justice was served. The most egregious thing of all? The spot was called for a booth review, and the head ref had the gall to uphold the call on the field as it stood. What a moron. Anyone with functioning eyeballs could see Northern Illinois tailback Gavin Williams' full abdomen was across the first down marker. His knee was on the line while the rest of his being from there up was across the line to gain.
Look at the reactions. It's unanimous. Even the corrupt NCAA couldn't rig their way to a Notre Dame win. They don't even look like they belong in the 12-team College Football Playoff at this point, although I'm sure the committee will bend over backwards to get them in if they have four losses or fewer.

So telling that it took me forever to find a clip of the spot in question. The NCAA is probably trying to scrub the Internet of it as we speak.
If I were Huskies coach Thomas Hammock — who needs a hammock for his gigantic testes wow I can't believe I just typed that — I would be crying to in outrage at the refs, combined with the overwhelming feeling of winning as a 22-to-1 moneyline bet.
