![Ismael Ayala]()
Quite often the internet is a cesspool of nonsense that makes you feel dumber for participating in it but every now and again we all come together to root for a common cause. That's currently happening thanks to a senior defensive tackle from Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington, PA.
Random high school football players have gone viral before, remember
this insane catch then ninth grader Ja'quez Johnson made last year?
Well, this year, let me introduce you too Ismael Ayala, America's new favorite high school football player.
Ayala is a bulldog of a kid,
listed at 5'7", 310lbs and looks like a force to be reckoned with in the trenches. In the first game of the year, he recorded 2 sacks, 5 tackles, and 1 TFL, a stellar stat line for a nose tackle.
He posted a link to the highlights on X along with a picture from the game and it went viral, for obvious reasons.

I watched his film and Ayala has real explosivity off the line. Pretty much every play he's blowing the o-line backwards and disrupting the play if not absolutely shutting it down, which makes sense considering he's got a 535lb squat, 375lb bench, and 255lb clean...

As you'd expect, a dude looking like that with the playmaking ability he has is making the online football world go crazy.

I absolutely love this kind of stuff. It's every kids dream to get "discovered" playing high school ball and if nothing else, Ayala has his name out there now.
Plus, as a Pennsylvania man myself, I love it when someone from the Keystone State gets a big moment.
I'm pulling for you Ismael, keep grinding.
