St. Brown family

Want to know the key to raising world class athletes? Former Mr. Universe John Brown revealed a couple of things to consider when he joined the St. Brown Podcast last month. To clear things up, John Brown is the father of Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown, who are both wide receivers in the NFL. Amon-Ra has been a standout receiver for the Detroit Lions in the past couple of seasons, and Eqanimeous (the older brother) had many reliable years of play in Green Bay, and now suits up for the New Orleans Saints (there's another brother that also played football at Stanford but his career was derailed by injuries). https://www.instagram.com/p/C8cW_N-KaE5/?hl=en&img_index=1 Needless to say, athleticism runs in the St. Brown family, and as John Brown will tell you, that isn't by mistake. When the patriarch of the St. Brown family joined the St. Brown Podcast, he discussed what many people ask him when it comes to advice: How do you raise athletes? Brown, who has won Amatuer Mr. Universe twice in his life, explains that the process of raising athletes starts way before the kids are even born: "You can't be 5 foot 2 inches and want to be a defensive lineman. It starts from the beginning. I believe in breeding. You gotta pick the right girl or the right guy." John Brown was thinking about all of that when he was dating around, and ended up getting together and having kids with Miriam Steyer, who is from Leverkusen, Germany. The former Mr. Universe said that he could tell he'd be able to have athletic kids with Steyer because of a couple of characteristics their mother possesses, in addition to his "black gold." "I got that black gold in me and mama got that big chin, them big toes. Ain't nothing wrong with a big-toed woman. Her chin is relatively big... You've got to think of this stuff. Some guys don't think of it until later." That answer obviously got the St. Brown brothers laughing hysterically, as did many other answers that their father gave during the conversation. https://youtu.be/N6Pzo8wTquI?si=71riQteo5Ehf3PQh&t=1521
