What's up with earthquakes and baseball this year?
Early last month an earthquake hit the Greater New York area while the Yankees were warming up, which gave us this incredible video of Gleyber Torres taking batting practice while the ground is shaking without skipping a beat.

And just a few minutes ago another baseball game was hit with an earthquake, this one taking place in Corona, California, about 20 miles east of Angel Stadium where the Philadelphia Phillies are taking on the Los Angeles Angels.
It hit between innings so there wasn't footage of the stadium shaking, but Phillies announcers Tom McCarthy and John Kruk spoke about the booth shaking coming out of the commercial break.
Naturally, many people in the area took to X to let people know what they felt.

I get that it's a natural thing but I'm going to ask the earth nicely to stop randomly shaking, it freaks the people out...
