Olympic Golf Announcer Presumably Drops WILD F-Bomb Live On Air: “She’s F***in’ Fired Up”

Brooke Henderson

I guess they do Olympic golf coverage a little bit differently? The Women's Olympic golf tournament is currently taking place over in Paris, France at the Le Golf National (which sounds like a made up French golf course if you ask me). With only one round left to play to determine who takes home the gold, the competition is heating up. Two of the top women's golfers are tied for the lead after round three, so it should be an exciting finish tomorrow. But today, the round of the competition belonged to Canadian golfer Brooke Henderson. She's lit up the course and shot a scorching 5-under-par round to move into the top 15. She's still a long ways away from a podium finish, but Henderson isn't entirely out of it thanks to her good play today. And during the round, Brooke shared a celebratory moment with her caddie after hitting a great approach shot. Her caddie just so happens to be her older sister, Brittany Henderson, so I'm sure it was a cool moment for the two sisters to share on the Olympic stage. NBC sure was excited about the moment, or one of their announcers was at the very least. After the stellar shot, the cameras caught Henderson expressing herself a bit and taking in the moment with her sister on the bag. But it does seem as though the golf commentator got a little carried away - and forgot she was on network television. Now it's possible that the Olympic golf announcer didn't drop an f-bomb, and she just said something that sounds a lot like the f-word. But it sure does seem like this is what she said as the camera caught Henderson trying to give a fist bump to her caddie: "Yeah... yeah! Let's give Brittany a little pump. She's f***in' fired up. You love to see it." https://twitter.com/robmillertime/status/1821886575845793910 I mean... what else could it be if it's not the f-word there? Hopefully NBC just brushes it off and moves on, but there's a chance the announcer who threw the curse word out there nonchalantly will face some sort of repercussion. To be honest, I don't think anyone cares all that much about the occasionally f-bomb. It's not always bad to spice things up with an unexpected explicit moment...
