Snoop Dogg Phelps

Snoop Dogg becoming the unofficial face of Team USA during the Olympics is one of the best things the internet has seen in quite some time. He is not only supporting from the stands but also is calling some of the Olympic highlights with Mike Tirico. Snoop Dogg knocked his commentary out of the park, and if you don't know where to start when it comes to Olympic coverage, his highlight breakdown is a perfect place to start. https://twitter.com/SnoopDogg/status/1817848865199919444?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1817848865199919444%7Ctwgr%5E4a667f13f2eb3cd1a9d2bcd8385d14cb98a720f3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.whiskeyriff.com%2F2024%2F07%2F29%2Fsnoop-dogg-got-his-shot-to-call-summer-olympics-highlights-including-badminton-he-did-not-miss%2F Aside from commenting and watching the action from the stands, Snoop has also immersed himself among the athletes, past and present. Snoop also participates in a series where he meets Team USA and interviews some standout team members, like beach volleyball duo Sara Hughes and Kelly Claes. While Snoop makes for the perfect correspondent to relay real-time updates on all the action accurately, he also wants to partake in some action to see what it takes to be an Olympian. And there is no better former Olympian to show Snoop the ropes than the most decorated Olympian of all time. 28-time medalist Michael Phelps took Snoop under his wing and gave him an Olympic-style swimming lesson. https://twitter.com/SnoopDogg/status/1818607522283929953 Put on your swim caps and goggles because this is top-tier content. In a less-than-Olympic-sized swimming pool, Snoop put up his dreads into a swim cap to learn what it takes to be an Olympic swimmer. After Phelps says that it takes a good wingspan and lung power to be a truly great swimmer, Snoop is confident that he meets those criteria. "You just described me. You said wingspan and lung power... I definitely have great lung power. And I have a swimmer's body. Our bodies are similar, Mike. We could be twins. Let's get in the water, man." After a few on-shore demos for stroke pulls, Snoop is ready to give it a go. Boy, does he give it his best college try. Starting with a solid streamline position, things become questionable when his kicks are a mix of breaststroke with freestyle. When he comes up to the surface of the water, he has a strong freestyle stroke, and the splashing he makes as he keeps his head out of the water gives the viewer the feeling that he is flying down the pool. Phelps then takes a turn demonstrating backstroke, leaving Snoop in awe. "Okay, flipper."  Based on this footage, the USA relay team has a solid alternative should someone become injured or sick. "As you see, I am in gold medal condition...Shout out to the Phelps family and the team that is going to give me some oxygen right now."  Snoop Dogg is one of the best additions to the Olympics, and I can't get enough of the content.
