Once internet sleuths were able to track down Welch's identity, the Hawk Tuah girl has capitalized on her 15 minutes of fame - and then some. Though she's been selective about certain ventures (she turned down an offer from Playboy), Welch and her team have been busy creating and trademarking merchandise opportunities. Welch recently made the announcement that she's joining the subscription service Fanfix, and she and her team have even moved into getting her Hawk Tuah branded merchandise into brick and mortar stores - like Spencer's (can't think of a better fit for NSFW merch). And that's just the tip of the iceberg... Haliey Welch is branching out into the hot sauce and barbecue sauce market with cooking sauces cleverly named... you guessed it - "Hawk Sauce" and "Hawk Tuah Sauce." Considering what the "source material" is for those names, I don't know how appetizing "Hawk Sauce" really is. Trademarks have also been filed for mouthwash, sunflower seeds and chewing gum. And in the strangest move by Welch, TMZ is reporting that she's apparently looking into developing her own sports betting service. Yes, you read that right. The business venture is apparently set to be named "Bet On That Thang," and will also extend into casino gaming and entertainment services. I can't wait to lose hundreds of dollars on Haliey Welch's sports betting service... what a time we live in. But shoutout to her for trying to make bank while she can.
