Tigers kids

How does Major League Baseball grow the game for future generations? They put field-storming kids in cuffs. The MLB runs a pretty tight ship when it comes to unruly fans running onto the field. That was on display this past weekend, when two children were handcuffed and taken into custody after they snuck onto the baseball field during a Detroit Tigers-Minnesota Twins game. Storming the field is nothing new... it's just usually done by drunk, adult idiots. There aren't many cases or examples of little kids doing it, but despite it being not as commonplace, it didn't change how stadium security handled the situation. Here's the clip of the children running out onto the field. Make sure to keep an eye out for some of their ankle-breaking jukes that brought security guards to their knees:

Now normally, the field stormers would be apprehended and ushered out of the stadium. It's also very normal for perpetrators to be fined up to $5,000, and depending on where you're at, arrested. But I can't say that I've seen the police parade a pair of kids through the stands - HANDCUFFED. They are believed to be between 10 and 13-years-old: https://twitter.com/CalicoJoeMLB/status/1817605985780817942 Probably could have gone without the big stunt of escorting them out of the stadium through the crowd, but guess what? I bet these kids won't ever even think about storming another field.
