Beware of "Karens."
They are all over the country and waiting to derail any moment of enjoyment and relaxation you might have. That was on full display in this clip out of Laguna Beach, California, where a beach front home owner claimed that beachgoers were trespassing on her property.
But there's a gray area as to who - if anyone - was actually in the wrong.
Some tourists from Oklahoma were hanging out in an area that sure looked a lot like a public beach. That is until a wild "Karen" believed that they were on her private property. The Laguna Beach homeowner brought out rope on a spool and started marking off what "her property line" was, and telling anyone that was even close to it to leave:
"This is not an Instagram moment. You're on my property, get moving now! Now you are in my property line."
The tourists, who were at the beach with their kids, took video as they retreated from the mean, irate woman. The footage has now gone viral, and has also sparked a conversation about how far property lines extend on beaches. It appears that this "Karen" was in the wrong, as the TikTok video caption alluded to:
"Karen on Laguna Beach extending the property to a public area. We were never on her her property at all. She even told my friend her ass was out because she was wearing a dress… it's a beach?"

That's tough to watch - and it's certainly hard to find anyone that's on the side of the screaming Karen (sorry to all the Karens out there who are normal, nice, contributing citizens to society).
