![Bryson DeChambeau]()
Bryson DeChambeau is certainly having a moment.
We're just a couple of months from him winning the U.S. Open, and now he's winning in another realm - YouTube. DeChambeau posted a video
playing golf with former President Donald Trump earlier this week, and it would be an
understatement to say that it's been successful.
It's been a rocket ship to the moon, as explained by the post below:

Thanks to the now viral video, Bryson's YouTube channel has surpassed one million subscribers, meaning that he now officially has two jobs: Pro golfer and content creator.
DeChambeau seems more than happy to do it though. During time with the media before a LIV event, the professional golfer was asked about how the video came to me, and he explained that it driven by charity more than anything:
"We were able to call out and ask him to play, and he said yeah, absolutely. We asked the other side as well, and anyone that wants to play. We're more than willing to do something for charity. We wanted to make it about charity and the Wounded Warriors Project."
DeChambeau and Trump ended up raising over $200,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project, and more money has poured in from fans who have tuned into the video. And Bryson was humble enough to admit that Trump was a huge get for his "Breaking 50" series:
"He’s obviously a figure that can pull a lot of views, and we thought it would be great to showcase his golfing ability, and he’s a pretty good golfer. It was a lot of fun to do, and it took a little bit, but we got it approved and it was fun to shoot.
It happened in three days. I think we did it on July 6 on Saturday, so it was a few weeks before all the stuff went down, and yeah, it was a great time. We had a blast, and again, I look forward to doing a lot more of those with other influential people."

Speaking of influential people...
A reporter followed up by asking if Bryson has intentions of playing with Kamala Harris or Barack Obama now that Joe Biden has dropped out of the 2024 Presidential Race. The reigning U.S. Open champion answered by saying he'd welcome anyone from the other side of the aisle:
"Whether it's Obama or anyone else on that side, I’m more than willing to play with them. I have no issues whatsoever. That's the thing about golf is that the more we can utilize golf to bring everyone together in a cool way, I think that’s the vision of the global game of golf...
Politicians are divisive figures for sure and I respect and understand that. I think showing the content side of it, creating content, was the most important thing we were trying to accomplish there and raising a lot of money for charity."
Great point there, and as we've seen with the "Breaking 50" with Donald Trump, these videos can do a lot to raise money for charities. If you haven't had a chance to watch the full 18-hole round that DeChambeau and Trump played together, go ahead and press play on the link below:
