Earlier this week, the internet was up in arms when images of Joe Burrow surfaced, rocking a new look. From the dirty blonde beach boy look he was sporting, Burrow did a 180, changing his hairstyle to a bleached and buzzed toe-head look.

The internet did not hold back when it came to roasting his training camp look, so before we dive into what inspired this change, let's revisit some of Twitter's finest comments.

The training camp look says he means business, I guess? But Joe took to the microphone during a recent press conference, noting that the bleach and cut was not for himself but rather for some team bonding.
"BJ (Hill) said that if I buzzed it and bleached it, he would do it too. So now, everybody's gotta hold him accountable because he's got to do it in the next week...I think we need the fans and the media to hold him accountable if he doesn't do it. So, I'm counting on you guys."
Burrow also admitted to being a little "bored," so he made this bet with BJ Hill. He also shared that it was jarring the first few mornings waking up to his new look, and it took time for him to adjust to the bleach and buzz socially. Thankfully, though, for the fans that like his luscious locks, Burrow confessed this look was likely temporary and was done out of fun team bonding.
"I think this is probably temporary. I'll let it grow out and see what it looks like. A little frosted tips...I don't know, we will see."
While this might be temporary, I must admit I now can't wait to see BJ Hill rock this look, too. The countdown is on for him to hold up his end of the bet.
