Jim Justice Babydog

How can you not love a cute dog? You know the saying that dogs look like their owners? I fear that is very true regarding West Virginia Governor Jim Justice. Last night, during the second day of the Republican National Convention, Justice spoke on stage, but rather than his message captivating the audience, it was the surprise appearance of his dog. https://twitter.com/cwarzel/status/1813386829997175158 The adorable English Bulldog, named Babydog (great play on words), won the audience's heart as she was brought on stage and sat near the podium. Audience members at the convention were shocked when he brought out the dog on stage, but what he said was a message that did not have to do with politics, but instead, because he knew Babydog would brighten everyone in the crowd or watching from home day. "I know a lot of you want to meet my little buddy. So, if Babydog can come on out here. Now, as the world watches, you didn't really expect that, did you? But with that being said, let me say just this: She makes us smile, and she loves everybody. And how could the message possibly be any more simpler than just that?"  Of course, later in the evening, Justice, who is running for Senate, went back to his political agenda after making the people smile, noting that Babydog predicted the Republicans would retain control of the House, flip the Senate, and the people would elect Trump as our next president. Quite the psychic that brown and white chunkster with an underbite is. Regardless of the political message, the internet has fallen head over heels in love with Babydog, and many commenters on the video completely disregarded the political agenda. Jim Justice might be campaigning for his spot in the Senate, but if Babydog were on the ballad, she would win.

Justice, who is now running for the Senate, said his dog predicted Republicans will retain control of the House and flip the Senate and that Donald Trump will win the White House. #gop #republican #trump #westvirginia #dogsoftiktok ♬ original sound - cbsnews
Check out some of the comments left on the video. "I’m voting for Babydog." "My husband works for the state and got to pet Baby Dog once. I have never been more jealous of him." "I'm now a babydog fan!" "Awww, hers so chunky!!! Love it!!" "I just wanna give Babydog all the love." "I would absolutely die for Babydog." "I would die in a war for Babydog." “Can I PET THAT DOOOGGG” "Not to be dramatic, but I would commit crimes for Babydog."
