![Miles Mastrobuoni Chicago Cubs]()
Ok, that's pretty good.
I feel like we don't pay enough attention to organists at sporting events. We just kinda take for granted that they're up there, playing in between plays and doing their thing. But sometimes, when you actually pay attention, you realize just how good they can be at their job (and I'm not just talking about their musical talent).
A few years ago the organist for the minor league Daytona Cubs was ejected for playing "Three Blind Mice" as a jab at the umpires. But the organist for the St. Louis Cardinals likes to have some fun with song selection himself, and if you pay attention you may just pick up on some pretty funny little Easter eggs.
The Cardinals organist, Jeremy Boyer, posts videos to TikTok of some of his song selections, which are often puns on player names or what's going on in the game.
But he may have outdone himself with this one.
During Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs, Boyer decided to break out a special song for Miles Mastrobuoni - and when the Cubs third baseman made an out, played "I Touch Myself" by Australian rock band the Divinyls.
(That's a masturbation joke, in case you didn't get it).
Sorry, but that's hilarious. Give this guy a raise.
I just wonder if Mastrobuoni noticed that the organist was making fun of his name...
