Disgusting, regardless of which side of the aisle you're on.
Over the past couple of days, there have been way too many examples of people who just couldn't help themselves but to make disgusting comments about the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Too many people let their politics get in the way of their humanity and ended up making comments online that have real-world consequences.
And some just shouted them out on stage into a microphone.
During a Tenacious D show in Sydney, Australia, lead singer Jack Black took a moment to celebrate the birthday of bandmate Kyle Gass. And after singing "Happy Birthday" to Gass, Black asked him to make a wish:
"Don't miss Trump next time."

Ridiculous. Is this where we are that hoping for the assassination of somebody you don't like is an accepted punchline?
Well luckily there are still plenty of people on Twitter to call out this kind of violent and disgusting rhetoric, with some pointing out that Black recently appeared at a fundraiser for President Joe Biden:

Yeah, maybe cheering on an assassination attempt of a political candidate isn't the best look. Be better.
