![Matthew Tkachuk]()
Matthew Tkachuk is the unique blend of skilled scorer and physical enforcer that any championship-caliber team would want on their side. The Florida Panthers star led the club with 16 assists during the Stanley Cup playoffs,
and logged their most penalty minutes with 31.
So it comes as no surprise that the hockey artist colloquially known as the Rat King was the chief catalyst to keep spirits high while Mother Nature literally rained on the Panthers' Stanley Cup parade on Sunday.
It even got to the point where one fan, moved by Tkachuk's on-ice performance and probably by the fact that he
took the Cup into the Atlantic Ocean before Sunday's festivities, dropped an F-bomb on live TV.

That reporter indeed played it off well. You never know what you're going to get when you interview the crowd at a championship parade. Profanities kind of come with the territory when you're getting sauced up by the beach and celebrating the first Stanley Cup in a franchise's history.
Check out the pro wrestling-style championship belt Tkachuk is rocking, with the added flex of celebrating with his dad/former NHL player Keith Tkachuk:

Regarding that Elbo Room bar, I have actually been there and it's a hell of a time. Tkachuk stopped there in the days before the parade, and of course did so again once the proper parade was on the way. In fact, people were lined up hours in advance in anticipation of Tkachuk and the Panthers' eventual arrival.

Florida isn't exactly a hotbed for hockey talent or perceived interest, yet even the bad weather didn't stop the Panthers faithful from banding together for a massive parade turnout.

Cutting back to Tkachuk: Since he came over from Calgary two seasons ago, the Ps have advanced to the Stanley Cup Final each year. Thank goodness they
hung on against the Oilers in Game 7 and didn't blow a 3-0 series lead. We're bound to hear a lot of dynasty talk for the foreseeable future. Tkachuk is a big reason for that and is only 26 years old. Most of the Panthers' key players, save for goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, are still in their 20s. There's a real window of opportunity for Florida to take home multiple Stanley Cups in short order.
For now, let's just appreciate the moment and gas up the unique parade in the Sunshine State, where Tkachuk is leading the charge.
