Donald Trump Joe Biden

Was there anything good on TV last night? I was just wondering. I didn't know if there was anything on that had everyone talking online, or something like that. But anyways, how about we get to the subject of this story, which is that the sport of golf is having a big ol' moment. Believe it or not, as America tries to decide who we want to be our next president, our two candidates were busy arguing about their golf games. Just a couple of old guys cutting it up about how far they can hit the ball and what their handicaps are. At one point, when Biden and Trump were asked about their competency if they were elected (Biden would be 86 at the end of his second term, Trump would be 82), the former president boasted about his recent club championships. Then, the current and former president went back and forth about their golf handicaps. No, seriously, watch for yourself: https://twitter.com/ChuckTamato2/status/1806515501926879299?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1806515501926879299%7Ctwgr%5E3da5a1e463beedb162fdaf6fe54b30f601bdcc6a%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.whiskeyriff.com%2F2024%2F06%2F27%2Fjoe-biden-donald-trump-argue-about-their-golf-handicaps-during-presidential-debate-twitter-loved-it%2F Though there were a lot of "interesting" portions of the debate, the one moment that stood out to social media users was the golf argument that broke out during the PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE. To be frank, no one cares about who is the better golfer, and I hope no one is voting for a potential president based solely upon golfing skills. But I will say, I would love to see a golf match between Biden and Trump in lieu of a second debate. And thanks to reigning U.S. Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau, there's already a platform that's willing to host the match: "Let's settle this whole handicap debate, I'll host the golf match on my YouTube." https://twitter.com/b_dechambeau/status/1806530776499900562?s=46&t=MJsZPDU4NSclKj0QlsD9vQ Would it really be all that shocking in this day and age if your presidential candidates played each other in a golf match and it was aired on YouTube? Follow up question... could Trump or Biden even pull up YouTube if someone asked them to? That's besides the point though. Democracy is about letting the people's voices be heard, and judging by the replies to DeChambeau's post, the American people want to see this golf match happen. They've even got some great ideas for how it could work: Maybe that's true... but if it wasn't on YouTube and they slapped on PPV, it would make BANK. No question about it.
