Come on, lighten up a little.
If you've been anywhere near the internet over the past week you're no doubt familiar with the "Hawk Tuah" girl. But if you're not, here's the quick backstory: It all started during an "on the streets" interview in Nashville, where a nice young lady was asked how to please a man in bed.
And according to her:
"You gotta give him that hawk tuah, spit on that thang."

The girl (who hasn't yet spoken out about her mega-viral fame) quickly won over the hearts...yeah, hearts...of guys on the internet, and has been the biggest meme I've seen in a long time.

Social media has been flooded with memes, merch, videos, AI songs...hawk tuah is a certified cultural phenomenon at this point.
So naturally, some brands are rushing to jump on the train and take advantage of the viral sensation.
JD Motorsports, a NASCAR Xfinity Series team that runs the #4 and #6 car for various drivers, threw their submission out there this weekend as rain at Loudon canceled practice and qualifying.

Pretty funny, right? A good, timely use of the meme, relevant to the situation at hand...quality post.
Well apparently the team didn't appreciate it.
The social media manager for JD Motorsports, who goes by Dorman on Twitter and apparently also works for the team as a tire specialist, took to social media after the post was deleted and announced that he had been removed from the JD Motorsports account over the meme.
