Not to dwell on the negative, or detract from the Boston Celtics' accomplishment of becoming NBA champions, but let's face it: Part of Titletown's charm is the collective grit of its denizens.
When the Celtics got blown out in Game 4 of the NBA Finals by the Dallas Mavericks, Boston fans got into a huge fight at the TD Garden watch party for reasons unclear.

Didn't matter that no team in the history of basketball had rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win the Finals. The series was coming back home for Game 5. Plenty of opportunities to still secure that 18th championship banner. The folks in that scuffle swung away at each other all the same.
Aaaand cut to Friday's literal championship parade. Should be a time where everyone comes together. Everyone in Boston can put aside their differences and agree that a Celtics title is awesome, right? Wrong! We've got some young-ins duking it out in an ugly scene below:

From the looks of it, if I can give the benefit of the doubt to anyone, one super drunk bros was fighting another super drunk bro. When one of them was getting the upper hand on the other, the losing combatant's girlfriend stepped in and appeared to kick some serious a** for a little while. She even chased the dude who was bothering her and her significant other when he retreated into a bigger sea of people.
I'm assuming the blood going down the young lady's face is that of the drunken loser she was trying to shove out of the way. If that guy caused the gash on her head, well, that's a horrible look deserving of an arrest and legal action. Really hoping it's the former scenario as it would appear to be upon first watch. The fact that the young woman chased after the guy and didn't seem too woozy or anything bodes well.
We're early enough that there isn't an alternate angle or longer reel of footage to see what exactly happened here. In any event, while it's an unsettling situation all around, this seems like an isolated incident of bad apples who were over-served and probably regret getting so intoxicated as to not remember a decent chunk of the Celtics' parade.
Feels right to end this on a more positive note with 38-year-old Al Horford enjoying his first NBA championship aboard one of the duck boats with a cowboy hat and drunk Tom Brady shirt on.
