Jason Kelce

That's one way to deal with hecklers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there might not be a physical specimen more capable of deleting beers than offensive lineman. Even former offensive lineman like Jason Kelce, who retired after this past season, can still throw back a beer like nobody's business. The longtime Philadelphia Eagles center (last seen not stepping in to deal with a confrontation his wife was in) has been busy in his retirement. Not only is he a co-host of the wildly successful New Heights podcast with his brother Travis Kelce, he's also still doing a lot of Eagles-related events, like this charity golf tournament at Manufacturers Golf and Country Club in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. While he was working through the course, Kelce came across a group of rabid football fans standing by a tee box. Their outfits ranged from Masters caddy uniform to... Santa Clause, if that tells you anything about the Philly fans. They were in mid-season football fan form, if that tells you anything. How could I tell? The rowdy fans were equipped to shotgun beers with Jason Kelce, who emphatically yelled out a "Go Birds!" before he cracked open the brewski and emptied it out in record time. Once everyone downed their drinks, those across the quiet golf course were treated to a loud-and-proud "E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES" chant. Jason Kelce intentionally aimed to create that kind of environment during the charity event. He said on the New Heights podcast that he wanted the tournament to feel different than just your regular, run-of-the-mill golf outing: "We’re looking to have a lot of fun with it and do it a little bit different. One of the things I’m pretty passionate about is I want each and every member that is golfing in that golf tournament to feel what it’s like to play sports in Philadelphia." Looking at the above video, I'd say Kelce did a pretty good job of making that happen. Looks like Philly's finest made their way to the golf course to create an atmosphere reminiscent of game days at Lincoln Financial Field. And they got to shotgun a beer with an Eagles all-time great...
