![Chuck Schumer]()
Maybe let a pro run that grill, Chuck.
Obviously on Father's Day, there's no better gift for dad than letting him fire up the grill and throw on some burgers and dogs. Crack open a cold beer and let him cook. That's dad's happy place.
But after seeing this photo, I'm not sure Chuck Schumer has ever even seen a grill before.
The Senate Majority Leader posted a (since-deleted) photo of himself grilling up some burgers and hot dogs, admitting that it's his first time being able to grill out:
"Our family has lived in an apartment building for all our years, but my daughter and her wife just bought a house with a backyard and for the first time we’re having a barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill!"
And, well it shows.
As eagle-eyed Twitter users noticed, it appears that the senior senator from New York has some raw patties on the grill, and just threw the cheese on top before even cooking the burger. And any dad will tell you that's not how it works: You gotta grill those patties before you put the cheese on them.
But not only that, only one burner on the grill is turned on, and the hotdogs on the other side of the grill are done while the burgers are completely raw (and look completely unseasoned, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say maybe we just can't tell that he salted them...but if he did, it wasn't enough).

I mean, even if it's his first time grilling out, has he never cooked burgers inside before? (Of course Schumer has a net worth of millions of dollars, and has been in government since he was 25, so it's entirely possible he's never cooked for himself).
Well of course people were quick to let him have it for his grilling faux pas:

Rough look if this post was trying to make him look relatable...
