![Waffle House]()
There are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see.
As you've often heard, art is in the eye of the beholder. Paintings and sculptures are always up for interpretation, and while some pieces of art appeal to the masses, there is rarely ever a painting that can everyone on the planet can love.
Except for this one.
I'm always keeping an eye out for viral moments online, and this one just might be my favorite one that I've ever come across. An X user (formerly Twitter user) that appears to call Charleston, South Carolina home came across a "painter in the wild," and though that's not uncommon, the subject matter of this piece of art was eye-catching.
As this person, whose name could be Chris, explained in their post:
"I just drove past the most glorious sight- a man in a cowboy hat with a full on easel making an oil painting of the local Waffle House from the parking lot."

What a tremendous tweet... or post, whatever you want to call it.
That by itself is hilarious, and certainly leaves a lot up to imagination. But an opportunity like this doesn't come in life all that often, and this social media user knew they had to circle back to get concrete evidence of what they saw.
So they took time out of their day, turned around, and went back to snap a picture of the artist at work just outside of the Waffle House. The cowboy-hat-wearing man was indeed fully set up, easel and all, painting the beautiful display of architecture that is a Waffle House:
"I had to spin the block. Look at this King."

Waffle House oil painter - your drip is too hard, your style too tough, and your knack for finding the most beautiful scenes in nature to capture forever in paint... too good.
I can't get over how wonderful of a story this is. Over 135 thousand people like the picture of the artist at work, and if the painter could somehow capitalize on his newfound stardom, he could make a FORTUNE selling that painting.
