Could Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have hit it off when she was just a teenager?
As you likely already know, this whole saga with former New England Patriots coach (and current UNC head coach) Bill Belichick and his much younger girlfriend Jordon Hudson continues to get messier and messier. At first, the story was just quirky and a tad bit strange. Now? It’s unfortunately graduated to questionable and head-scratching.
We were first told that Belichick and Hudson had randomly and serendipitously met on a flight, hitting it off. After Bill signed her college textbook (we’ll get to more on that in a bit), their connection then led to a dating relationship, followed by Hudson being entrenched in nearly every aspect of Bill’s life.
As time continues to pass, and more information is presented, it’s seeming more and more that their “meet cute” might not have gone exactly how it’s been portrayed.
And it all really started to take a turn for a worse when Jordon Hudson sat in on a CBS Sunday Morning interview a couple of weeks ago. Then Hudson was seen out on the field at UNC, where Bill Belichick is set to make his coaching return, helping her boyfriend… maybe a little too much.
The fact that Hudson seems to be over-involved in Belichick’s life has led to his own family showing and expressing concern. Things then reached a fever pitch when sportswriter and former ESPN host Pablo Torre shared a bombshell report on his podcast: Pablo Torre Finds Out.
The host revealed that the coach’s family is “deeply worried” about the damage Hudson is doing to the coach’s reputation and legacy. They’ve even allegedly been doing their own research into her background. And Torre went on to say that it wasn’t just Belichick’s family that was concerned.
According to his sources, the University of North Carolina had decided to ban Hudson from football practices – and the football facility altogether – following the disastrous CBS interview. A source told Torre that they “don’t think you’ll be hearing much from Jordon moving forward.”
But then the University of North Carolina came out and undercut that reporting. UNC responded to the “Jordon Hudson is banned” reporting with this straightforward statement:
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities. Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”
Even though North Carolina came out and contradicted everything that Pablo Torre had reported on, the investigative sports journalist stood by his reporting. He assured any doubters that the information he shared through Pablo Torre Finds Out was 100% vetted and credible by going on other sports programs, like The Dan Patrick Show, to defend himself.
And even if that “being banned” report was incorrect, Torre and his show found some other interesting tidbits during their investigation… like how Jordon Hudson may have still been a teenager when her and Belichick had their initial connection.
Torre directed attention towards Bill’s message and signature that he left behind in the now infamous college textbook that belonged to Hudson, who was originally believed to be 20-years of age when they met. After apparently meeting one another on the plane, Bill signed this message (and included every one of his Super Bowl victories) in the front of the book:
“Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic. Safe travels!”
That message was also dated February 11th, 2021.
Pablo Torre then played a video from one of Hudson’s Miss Maine pageants, with this one in particular taking place in March of 2024. In it, Hudson – representing Hancock, Maine – went up to the microphone (after dramatically spinning and flipping her hair around) to tell the crowd that she was 22-years-old.
Anyone out there good at math? If you are, you’ll quickly realize that the “math ain’t mathing” there.
Pablo Torre and his program believe that Hudson was actually 19-years-old when she and Belichick met on the plane, and that Bill was close to turning 69-years-old around at that same time. Obviously, there’s nothing illegal about that kind of relationship. And I won’t get into the moral or ethical dilemma that much, but an almost 70-year-old romantically talking to someone that’s not yet left their teens?
The age of Jordon Hudson has even come into question by those at the University of North Carolina, according to Torre. He asked his co-hosts if they had ever mistyped their birth year, only so he could set up this point that he had to make about Hudson:
“This is a question that has been asked around the North Carolina football program. It has been asked because I have learned of an internal document that has been circulating around said program. The school directory – or let’s say the wives and girlfriends of football coaches working at UNC – fill out a directory.
Address, email, phone number, number of kids, their names and your birthday… so that people can say ‘Happy Birthday’ when it’s time for your birthday. Jordon Hudson put down her birthday on this document, I am told, as April 2000. (A little older) or she did not put her accurate birthday?”
Much of the rest of the information points towards Hudson’s date of birth actually being sometimes in April of 2001. So what motivation, if any, would she have to insist she’s a year older? Well, with Hudson shutting down the question about how they met with CBS, and now potentially falsifying her birth date at UNC, there’s speculation that Belichick and Hudson are now avoiding the “book signing meet cute story” because that would confirm that the football coach had started talking to Hudson when she was just 19-years-old.
I don’t know about you, but I miss either a) not hearing about Bill Belichick at all in the media or b) only hearing about him when he won or lost big games in the NFL.
