![Wolfs movie brad pitt George clooney]()
George Clooney and Brad Pitt together? In a buddy-action-comedy? What more could movie fans ask for?
At the very least, the return of George Clooney to the big screen should have people excited. The 63-year-old has recently stepped away from acting to focus on directing. He hasn't starred in a movie since 2022, so I'm just pumped that we're getting another movie with Clooney
in front of the camera.
As for Brad Pitt, he's stayed pretty busy in recent years, acting and producing in a multitude of projects. He's always able to step into the role of a quick-witted action hero, and it looks like he'll be somewhat reprising that role in this movie alongside his former
Ocean's star George Clooney.
And while we are
sort of on the subject of the
Ocean's franchise, can I just take a moment and say that those movies (
Ocean's 11, Ocean's 12, and
Ocean's 13) deserve more recognition. The star-studded casts, the complicated-yet-captivating storylines, they were phenomenal. I've longed for another addition to that franchise, but if we're not going to get one, at least we get something close enough with George Clooney and Brad Pitt in
Wolfs.
The initial teaser trailer didn't give much information, though the
internet didn't need much convincing to get on board. With the official trailer release came a more in-depth synopsis, and needless to say, I'm counting down the days until September 20th when this movie hits theaters.
Just read this description and try telling me you aren't ready to sit down with a bucket of popcorn:
"Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy Wolfs. Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected."
It's got blockbuster written all over it (though the box office has struggled in 2024 with some promising movies so far).
Go ahead and press play on the tense and intense trailer below and see what you think. If you are like me, you saw the names "Clooney" and "Pitt" and were in on it before you saw anything else:
