Massachusetts Man Caught Peeing While Standing At The Bar & Pretending To Read The Menu

That’s some impressive – but disgusting – multitasking.

A man in Massachusetts apparently didn’t want to lose his spot at the bar by getting up to go to the bathroom, so instead of heading for the urinal, he decided to whip it out and pee right there at the bar.

Security camera footage released by the Beverly Police Department shows the man standing at the bar and pretending to flip through the menu, but unbeknownst to the bartenders (and apparently everybody else around him), he’s actually relieving himself on the bar down below:

The police shared a statement asking for help identifying the pissing bandit, but didn’t identify where the disgusting incident took place:

“The other night, someone decided to turn a local drinking establishment into their personal bathroom, peeing all over the bar instead of using the restroom like a normal human being. Not only is this disgusting, but it’s also incredibly disrespectful to the staff and patrons.

Let’s keep our local establishments a place for good times, not biohazard cleanups.”

And according to a now-deleted statement, the man was later identified, though no information was released on whether he’s been arrested or charged with a crime in relation to the incident.

We don’t know what was going on here, whether he was too drunk to realize what he was doing or whether he was pissed off (no pun intended) at the bar for some reason, or whether he was just some mentally ill dude who didn’t know any better. The bar didn’t appear to be that crowded, so it’s probably not a situation where he didn’t want to wait in line or was afraid he was going to lose his seat if he went to the bathroom. Who knows.

But I know there are people who get drunk and just start peeing anywhere and everywhere, so I’m honestly surprised this doesn’t happen more often.

Luckily I’m not the kind of drunk who pees in places that I’m not supposed to, but we’ve seen a few incidents in recent years of people getting wasted and peeing off the rooftop or balcony of bars on Broadway here in Nashville. A couple years ago, a man was arrested after peeing on his fellow guests at Jason Aldean’s downtown bar, and just a few weeks later a video went viral showing a guy taking a leak off the rooftop.

And back in 2019, a guy did the same thing from the balcony of Honky Tonk Central, earning himself a trip to jail and charges of assault and public intoxication after he peed on somebody waiting in line below. Yeah, I’d probably want to press charges too. Your night’s over after that.

It does make you wonder though, did the guy at the bar in Massachusetts just keep drinking and going about his business like nothing happened? Or did he realize what he’d done and decide to call it a night? Really need more details on what went down here – but like I said, I’m honestly surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go.
