She might be done with athletes now, but is she also done with 22-year-olds?
Kristin Cavallari‘s dating life is being aired online again as she confirms who the mystery man is that she had a fling with over the last few months.
Since breaking things off with her Montana Boyz boyfriend, Mark Estes, Kristin Cavallari has returned to a much more acceptable age range. Over the last few months, she has teased fans that she has a new beau. After her split from Estes, Cavallari made it very clear that her next relationship would remain private, and she kept to her word until they parted ways.
In a recent Let’s Be Honest podcast episode, Cavallari confirmed who her mysterious man was. Cavallari teased that some internet detectives had priced together who she was with after she appeared on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde Podcast back in December, where she said she was dating someone new and divulged that Morgan Wallen was a “great f**k buddy.”
After calling herself a “f** king WAG through and through,” Cavallari said she had a brief but “deep” fling with Nate Thompson in a podcast episode titled “I’m Done With Athletes.”
After 844 NHL games, @NateThompson44 has called it a career.

“I don’t even care. I said his name on tour. I really think he’s such a great guy.”
Cavallari said that he has done a lot for himself and praised the retired NHL player for being such a great man. Cavallari admitted that their time together was one of the deepest relationships that she’s had, despite the short timeframe.
“I think that’s why I was so excited about and okay to talk about it, because in a really short amount of time we just like, I don’t know. We didn’t hold back anything, we told each other f**king everything. It was the most honest, pure, amazing ‘relationship’ I’ve ever had.”
Cavallari said that their time was mostly long, primarily because he’s based in L.A. and also has kids. She then began to say what she needed to make a relationship work for her, and it seemed like she was almost digging at Thompson, implying that there was no physical attraction there for her.
“That attraction piece for me has to be so on fire for me to want to be with someone. I have gone out with amazing men; this guy is a good example. Why can’t I fall in love with you? If I could choose who I want to fall in love with, I would pick you because you’re an amazing guy and we are firing on all other cylinders except for that flame, that piece.”
Cavallari said she’s not chasing a spark, but in the beginning of a relationship, for her to fall in love, she wants to “rip your f**king clothes off.” Cavallari confirmed that Mark Estes was a good example of that.
Oof, I’d hate to be Nate Thompson hearing a girl he was talking to say this about him.
Cavallari then goes on to say that she needs “compatibility and chemistry” to make a relationship work.
“I understand that what I’m searching for is rare. I get that. I’m searching, I’ve said it a million times, I’m searching for my perfect. And because I’m so clear about what i want and because I’ve waiting this long and I’ve put up with a lot of bullsh*t in my day, I’m not gonna settle for anything less than exactly what I want.”
Cavallari then clarified that she and Thompson had a lot of fun, but she didn’t feel like she wanted to be in a relationship, and that, leading up to her podcast tour, she didn’t have time to invest in one. She also admitted that being long-distance was not working because she has her kids most of the time, and she can’t jet off to go see him and go on dates.
After Nate, she said she was done with dating; however, later in the episode, Cavallari admitted that she’s back on Raya but is not “hoe-ing it up.”
So, with the podcast episode “I’m Done With Athletes,” is Cavallari really done dating these men, given that Raya is filled with athletes? To answer, no.
However, Cavallari clarifies that she’s done dating current athletes, but retired athletes are a different story.
