To all the men who thought they stood a chance with Sydney Sweeney after she called off her wedding with Jonathan Davino, I fear you might have waited too long to shoot your shot.
Sydney Sweeny’s love story is up in the air right now, but one thing is for sure: She and her long-time fiancé are in rough waters, leading them to call off their wedding. However, a source close to the couple told Page Six, after news of their wedding postponement, that they are not entirely calling it quits (as of now).
“Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split. Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”
Once the internet heard that Sweeney would no longer wed, many saw this as their opportunity to shoot their shot.

Well, sorry, fellas. It might be too late for you, as last night Sweeney was spotted out at dinner in Dallas, Texas, with her Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell. Deuxmoi got an anonymous tip that the two were spotted at the Tex-Mex restaurant Joe Leo.
“Plz keep me anon, but Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney are at a rehearsal dinner seemingly together at a Mexican restaurant in Dallas (Joe Leo) as we speak.”
The tip was also shared with images of the two looking cozily close to each other at the restaurant’s bar. Other tips on the gossip page said that Sweeney was in town for Powell’s sister’s wedding. Joe Leo was not the only spot they were seen at, as the second top says they went to Park House after their dinner, and she was seen having brunch with his family, with Powell not in attendance.
The timing of all of this is ironic, given that Powell and Sweeney were the center of the rumor mill last year, with many thinking they were having an affair on the set of Anyone But You.
The two shut down the rumors, but they had fun with them, leaning into them when Sweeney hosted SNL.

Ah, how life imitates art…
While some think Powell and Sweeney have maintained a good friendship since filming and that this is her showing support to him and his family, others believe something else is going on, and she’s attending the wedding as his date.
The girls are here for this coupling if they explore a romantic connection. But as for the guys, their hearts are shattered once again.
