Seems like these two are perfect for each other…because they’re both insufferable.
Alec Baldwin generally seems like a pretty unlikeable asshole. Just a miserable guy who always comes across as a Hollywood elitist with a short fuse and an arrogance that makes it easy to hate the guy.
But this past week, a viral video showing Baldwin’s wife Hilaria snapping at him actually had people online feeling sorry for the actor for maybe the first time.
The Baldwins were being interviewed by Extra on the red carpet of the Planet Hollywood Times Square grand opening recently, and stopped to chat about their new TLC “reality” show, The Baldwins. But while Alec was trying to compliment his wife, Hilaria warned him not to speak while she’s speaking:
“Oh my God, when I’m talking you’re not talking. When I’m talking you’re not talking.”
Baldwin’s face sunk like a puppy who’d just been scolded for peeing on the carpet, and he shot the camera a look like, “You see what I have to deal with?”

Folks online couldn’t help but feel sorry for Alec, with many criticizing his wife for humiliating him like that in public.

I'm not at all an Alec Baldwin fan, but I honestly feel bad for him. It must be insufferable to live with his wife.
Also, why TF do people still call her Hilaria?!

Well the couple took to social media after the clip went viral so that Hilaria could publicly apologize for scolding her husband like that for the world to see.
Just kidding, she humiliated him again.
While laying in bed, the couple re-enacted the interview before Hilaria decided to lecture her husband like a small child about “manterrupting,” which I had never heard of until just now and am sad that I now know it’s a thing:
“And that is called, what’s the word of the day?”
Right on cue, like a kid in school who’s been coached to behave in front of the principal, Alec promptly responds:
“Manterrupting.”
They clearly rehearsed this.
Hilaria continues:
“Manterrupting, which could be a positive, it could be a negative, or it could be a…”
Luckily she had Alec ready to answer this one too:
“Correctile dysfunction.”
What in the Joe Biden’s America is even going on here? “Manterrupting” and “correctile dysfunction?”
But anyway, Hilaria seemed to laugh off the whole controversy, explaining that they “interrupt each other all the time.” But the whole thing looked like a hostage video, from her forcing him to kiss her to prove that he’s not being held against his will to the way he was clearly coached to explain why he was wrong for interrupting her.
Brutal.
If you’re not familiar with Hilaria, her real name is (or was) actually Hillary, and she’s been accused in the past of faking a Hispanic accent – despite the fact that she’s from Boston and both of her parents are American. One time she even pretended to forget the word “cucumber” while faking a Spanish accent, later claiming “stage fright” and saying that while she identifies as white, her ethnic background includes “many, many, many things.”

In trying to explain why she sometimes had a Hispanic accent, Hilaria claimed that she spent a lot of time in Spain – but she never actually lived there and only visited on vacation.
