Dinner is served.
Masters week is quickly approaching as the 92nd playing of the famed tournament will take place. While Masters Sunday is the Super Bowl of golf, the whole week is filled with many events and traditions, such as the Par-3 Contest. But before attendees flood Augusta for the event, the holders of the coveted green jackets gather to dine together for the Masters Championship Dinner.
Held at the start of the Masters Week Tournament, this exclusive dinner features the menu of the previous year’s Masters Tournament champion. This year will be the second time that Scheffler has selected the menu, and boy, is it all American.
You can tell this man is from Texas.
After his first win in 2022, his menu picks included cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, tortilla soup, steak, or a blackened fish as the entree, and the entire meal was rounded out with a skillet cookie. This was a jarringly different menu than the wagyu and assorted sashimi and nigiri that Hideki Matsuyama chose for his 2023 menu.
Last year, for dinner, Jon Rahm brought in world-famous Spanish chef José Andrés to help him create the menu, which featured fine cuisine.

However, even with a year to draw inspiration for a fine dining experience after attending Rahm’s dinner, Scheffler is returning to his roots with a meal very similar to his first Masters Champions Dinner.
The menu includes cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, and meatballs with ravioli bites for the appetizer. The first course is Texas-style chili, which means no beans. Following that, the main course is a choice of ribeye steak or blackened redfish; all brought home with the triumphant return of the skillet cookie.

The man clearly knows what he likes, given that this upcoming dinner menu includes some repeat items compared to his 2023 menu selections. Personally, I’d be over the moon to sit down to a meal like this; it’s a rock-solid lineup.
Of course, the internet has some thoughts on this selection, and it’s now going viral, with some social media users comparing it to a Chili’s or Applebee’s menu.
And to people trying to say that as a dig, how does it feel to not have taste? A country club-style triple dipper would hate to see me coming…
Check out some of the commentary.
Since he now has a rap sheet, he should’ve gone with the breakfast of choice for all those fresh out of the clink. pic.twitter.com/KHuHNtZSFI

This man's commitment to ravioli is so deep that he can slice his hand open over it and still come back to it for the most important meal of the year.
