We've been bamboozled.
This week, the internet was taken by storm when a picture of Joe Burrow with long hair circulated through Twitter (now X). A popular football account shared an image of the quarterback sporting some long, flowy locks with little context, just a simple caption that the image was trending.

The internet took the image and RAN with it, leading to many people loving the new look that the NFL heartthrob was sporting. While the hair was not Fabio's length long, it was a huge change from the high and tight look that he usually sports.
Many people leaned into the image, loving the new do, not remembering that we now live in a world of deep fakes and AI, which is exactly how this image came to life. (Sigh)
Shortly after the image took off on the social media platform, The Bengals shared a video of Burrow during practice, further highlighting that the image was indeed AI-generated.

While fans were heartbroken to learn that it was fake, at least we got some quality memes made out of it. If anything, this can serve as inspiration for his new hairstyle or that he would make a sellar Anakin Skywalker for Halloween.
