![Wisconsin Man “Skis” On Frozen Lake… In A Foldable Camping Chair]()
![Water skiing in Wisconsin]()
Guys will see this and think, "Hell yeah."
This is so dangerous yet so impressive and cool at the same time. The good ol' boys in the south get a lot of praise for their redneck ingenuity, but never underestimate the skills of a northwoods redneck... they're a different breed.
As spring is nearing, those who live in colder climates are getting the most out of their last big snows and taking advantage of the thick ice that still lies over lakes before it begins to hit warmer temperatures. While some people take advantage of the thick ice by ice skating or posting up for a lovely afternoon of ice fishing, others love to hit thick, frozen lakes with sleds and 4-wheelers to let it rip. However, this one group of Wisconsinites thought they'd amp up their excursion by putting a tow line behind the vehicle to do a little "skiing."
I have seen many people do this on ice and snow, using skis, old couches or chairs, or even tubes to create a snow-skiing experience.
But I have never seen someone brave enough to grab on to the tow line while sitting in a foldable camping chair—one without arms, which one would think could add an extra level of "security." The old lady inside of me keeps thinking, "Nothing about this looks safe."
I wonder how many beers were consumed before this genius idea was born... it might not be the safest method, but it makes for one epic moment.
The man being riding the chair glides over the ice without hitting a singular bump, making it look like light work. He then throws in some tricks, doing complete 360-degree spins while gliding over the ice. Attention Red Bull... if you are looking for your next extreme athlete, I think we just found your guy.
Let it rip.

While this moment is incredibly cool, we do not condone our fans or readers attempting the same trick. One wrong move, and it's over for this guy.
However, many other social media pages have also shared this video because...well, it's epic. Check out some of our favorite comments left on the video's shares.
"All that is necessary for men to do something dumb is for women not to be present. (I actually love this!!)"
"I feel like he should be wearing a helmet."

"Unreal."
"I'm just jealous because if I were to try it, I would be yeeted into oblivion."
Only in Wisconsin...
