![White House Press Secretary Shuts Down Reporter Offended By President Donald Trump’s Use Of Profanity]()
![Karoline Leavitt]()
What a bullshit question.
By now everybody should be used to President Donald Trump's unfiltered speaking style. We've seen it from the time he first announced his presidential campaign back in 2015, when the media immediately went crazy over comments that he made during his announcement about Mexico "not sending their best." And the outrage hasn't stopped since then, with people getting their panties in a wad over pretty much everything he says.
If you're a fan, you probably appreciate his unfiltered style. If you don't like him...well, you probably spend a lot of your time upset about the words coming out of his mouth.
Love him or hate him, Trump always says what's on his mind - and, notably, he doesn't shy away from dropping some curse words every now and then either.

Of course Trump isn't the first or only president who has used profanity in public. And honestly, who gives a shit?
Well apparently this reporter, that's who.
Yesterday during a briefing in the White House press room on the tragic crash between an American Airlines flight and a military helicopter, President Trump used the opportunity to criticize the former Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, and used what seems to be one of his favorite curse words in the process:
"A real winner. That guy's a real winner. Do you know how badly everything's run since he's run the Department of Transportation? He's a disaster. He was a disaster as a mayor, he ran his city into the ground, and he's a disaster now. He's just got a good line of bullshit."

And apparently it rubbed Newsmax reporter James Rosen the wrong way.
During a press briefing today, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked by Rosen about the president's use of profanity:
"Without seeking to cast myself as some kind of moral exemplar...this was an event yesterday that began with a moment of silence for the victims of the air crash, and the president's own invocation of, quote, 'a loving God.' And then he uncorked that expletive to uncork a former cabinet officer. It was the same expletive that I saw him use...in 2020, when he famously held up the 'Trump Acquitted' headline."
Dude, hurry the fuck up and get to the question... (sorry to "uncork an expletive" there).
But anyway, Rosen continued:
"My question is, if you could shed any light for us on how the president perceives his use of public profanity, which is a practice that certainly sets him apart from all of his predecessors. Does he regard it as an effective communications device, part of his appeal, or is it something that he lapses into inadvertently, perhaps in times of frustration, and later regrets?"
Honestly I wouldn't have blamed Leavitt if she just followed that one up with a, "Who the hell cares?" But instead, she took the opportunity to perfectly shut down the nonsense question that quite literally no American with a brain cares about:
"I think one of the things that the American people love most about this president is that he often says what they are thinking, but sometimes lack the courage to say themselves.
And I think yesterday at this podium, you heard President Trump express great frustration, perhaps even anger, with the previous administration’s policies, many of which have led to the crises that our country is currently facing and that this president is focused on fixing."

Perfect response.
Of course it's not the only time that Rosen has seemed to be offended by profanity from a public official. Back in 2024, he tweeted about an "unprecedented" use of public profanity from Kamala Harris:

And he's frequently threatened to block people who curse on social media:

Though it doesn't seem like he had anything to say about then-President Joe Biden calling Fox News reporter (and Rosen's former colleague) Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a bitch."

Either way, seems pretty clear that nobody gives a shit about President Trump's use of profanity.
