No one out pizzas the hut, and no one out tips
Post Malone.
It's always great to hear stories of celebrities and artists participating in random acts of kindness. The latest example we have is out Cottonwood Heights, Utah, where a Northern Utah Pizza Hut got the surprise visit - and tip - of a lifetime.
About 30 minutes before the restaurant was set to open this past Saturday, someone came knocking on the door. Shift manager Kolby Aguila told
Fox 13 that he went to tell the customer that they weren't open yet, but when he looked through the glass and saw Post Malone, their hours suddenly changed:
"I didn't think it was him at first, and then I opened the door. He asked me, 'Are you guys open?' I said, 'We're open for you, man!' I was starstruck. I honestly couldn't believe it."
So the normal Saturday shift at Pizza Hut quickly turned into a meet and greet with the artist that made waves last year crossing over into country music with his studio album
F-1 Trillion. Though to be clear, Post Malone wasn't just there to visit with the staff of the chain pizza restaurant. He gave the kitchen plenty of work with his reported order of the following:
-3 medium cheese pizzas
-Extra large cheese pizza
-24 boneless wings
-Large cheesesteak
While Pizza Hut was busy cooking up Posty's order, Malone took time to have conversations and take pictures with employees. Aguila, the shift manager, could not get over how nice of a man the singer-songwriter was, and how genuinely interested he was in the lives of those working at the Utah Pizza Hut:
"He said he loves Pizza Hut. He was honestly such a genuine man. I had a good conversation with him while his pizzas were in the oven. He was just asking me things about life."
Obviously, the surprise appearance and order from Post Malone would have been enough on its own to make the day memorable - but the "I Had Some Help" singer had one more trick up his sleeve. Once his food was ready and boxed up, Malone went to pay for his order, and left a $1,200 tip. Aguila said he was hesitant to accept it, but Post Malone insisted (and directed $400 to go to a coworker that also helped):
"I looked at him, I said, like, I was shocked. I was, like, I couldn't take that, and he handed me it. He's a pretty cool man."
Post Malone just proving once again that he's one of the best in the business.

And that's not even the first time that the country/pop star changed someone's life through generous giving.
Just this past December, Post Malone visited a Houston, Texas restaurant called The Railyard on Christmas Eve and
tipped a bartender there by the name of Renee Brown $20,000. Brown posted about her run-in with Post Malone on social media, and later shared a picture of the receipt he signed, which showed that his sale amount was only a dollar, but he left her a massive tip anyways that truly changed the woman's life.
