Did You Know Lauren Sanchez (Jeff Bezos’ Fiancée) Used To Date NFL Star Tony Gonzalez (Who Now Works For Amazon Prime)?

Let me remind you that you clicked on this, and while you are here, you might as well figure out how Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, and a woman by the name of Lauren Sanchez are all connected. It's a real, somewhat complicated who's who of former stars and current billionaires. Though the relationship status of Gonzalez, Sanchez and Bezos is not a secret, this post below really got the internet stirred up. The X account "College Sports Only" shared something that's not at all about college sports. They posted a photo of tight end Tony Gonzalez back in his playing days standing next to his wife, October, and his son, Nikko (as well as Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank). And the caption led people to believe that the woman in the photo, October Gonzalez, was Jeff Bezos' current fiancée, Lauren Sanchez: https://twitter.com/CollegeSportsO/status/1882085062864474510 Objectively, the caption "Hold Up: Jeff Bezos' wife is Tony Gonzalez's ex?" is almost 100% true. The only thing that makes it false is that Bezos and Sanchez have yet to get married, but they are engaged - and have been since May of 2023. It's that photo above that threw everyone on the internet (including myself) for a loop. THAT is actually a picture of Lauren Sanchez when she was dating Tony Gonzalez around 2001 or so. And just to be clear, Nikko is the child of Tony Gonzalez and Lauren Sanchez. That's an important clarification that could come in handy later. Now you might be sitting there thinking, "Lauren Sanchez... where have I heard that name as of late?" I'll answer that question by simply replying with "the internet." You might just be a fan of Sanchez and/or Jeff Bezos and choose to keep up with her. That's cool if you do. Tony Gonzalez has been happily married to his wife, October, since 2007. And now Sanchez is set to marry Jeff Bezos sometime soon, who at the time has a net worth of somewhere around 240 BILLION dollars thanks to Amazon. Interestingly enough, when Amazon launched their Amazon Prime Thursday Night Football broadcast in 2022, guess who was one of the featured analysts for pre and post game coverage? That's right. Former NFL star (and ex to Bezos' soon-to-be-wife) Tony Gonzalez. And that shouldn't come as a surprise.
