![Eagles Fan Fired By DEI Consulting Firm After Calling Packers Fan An “Ugly Dumb C**t” On Viral Video]()
![Philadelphia Eagles fan]()
Should have taken some of his own training.
Earlier this week, a video went viral showing a disgusting Philadelphia Eagles fan harassing a female Green Bay Packers fan during the NFL wild card playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field over the weekend.
The original video was posted by Alexander Basara, and the woman in the video is his fiancé. In the clip, the Eagles fan can be heard hurling disgusting insults at the woman as he argues with Basara:
“She’s an ugly dumb c*nt. You gonna do anything? Shut the f*ck up. Turn around and watch the game.”

Even the Eagles fans around him looked embarrassed and tried to get him to chill out, while some fans to social media to apologize for the guy’s behavior.
Of course, the internet quickly identified the man as Ryan Caldwell, a project manager at BCT Partners. The New Jersey-based company focuses on DEI management consulting, advertising itself as a team “comprised of seasoned experts and professionals in diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, and are adept at managing projects through an equity lens with the intent of finding solutions that are impartial and progressive.”
The irony...
BCT Partners quickly denounced the actions of their employee, releasing a statement after Caldwell was identified to announce that they would conduct an internal investigation:
“The management at BCT Partners has been made aware of a video circulating involving an employee making offensive remarks outside of the workplace. BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously.
As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values. We have already begun a full investigation as an internal personnel matter to determine what actions will be taken. We sincerely apologize to everyone affected by this behavior and remain committed to fostering a culture of respect for all.”
And well, the investigation must not have taken very long. Because last night, the DEI consulting firm released a follow-up statement announcing that Caldwell had been canned.
"We, the management of BCT Partners, have concluded the internal personnel investigation regarding an employee who was caught on a video outside of the workplace making highly offensive and misogynistic statements. In keeping with our company values, which are firmly centered on respect, dignity, and inclusion, we have decided to part company with the employee. This separation is effective immediately.
We condemn our former employee’s conduct in the strongest possible terms. This individual’s conduct and language were vile, disgusting, unacceptable, and horrific and have no place in our workplace and society. Such conduct is not who we are and not what we stand for.
At the same time, again to be true to our values, we can condemn the actions without condemning the individual. None of us deserve to be remembered for actions taken on our worst day. We have offered grace and support to our former employee. We hope that he will grow and we can all learn from this deeply disturbing incident. That's what real inclusion is and does. That is also who we are and what we stand for.
We sincerely apologize to the victim and for the many ways in which these events already have impacted so many people. We remain committed to gender equity and fostering a culture of respect and dignity for all."

Of course many were happy that the company took swift action, but others blasted the move as "cancel culture," disappointed that Caldwell was terminated based on a short video clip, without knowing the full story.

Most people, though, were just amused at the irony of a guy working for a company focused on "diversity, equity and inclusion" calling a woman a "dumb c*nt." Not exactly practicing what he preaches, eh?
And his job isn't the only place that he's not welcome back. Apparently the head of security for the Birds, Big Dom, was reportedly able to identify the man, and the Eagles organization has banned him from future games. The team is also sending the woman some Packers gear as an apology, which is a pretty classy move from an opposing team.

Whether you agree with the firing or not, it seems like this guy should have realized that everything you do will probably be caught on camera these days. And even at a football game, actions have consequences.
