‘Chrisley Knows Best’ Star Arrested For Allegedly Slapping A Manager At Twin Peaks

Seems like a great family... I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever watched a full episode of Chrisley Knows Best, but from the little bit I've watched of the "reality" show, it seemed pretty scripted. (Then again, aren't they all?) The show was filmed here in Nashville, so I even have some friends who were cast as extras to serve as customers at a business where the show was filming. Nothing says reality like bringing in fake customers while you're filming... Anyway, I really don't know much about the show, but apparently it followed the Chrisley family, including real estate investor Todd Chrisley, his wife Julie, their children Lindsie, Kyle, Chase, Savannah and Grayson. The show also featured Todd's mother, "Nanny Faye," and granddaughter Chloe Chrisley, who was being raised by Todd and Julie due to their son Kyle's struggles with addiction. The show premiered in 2014 on the USA Network, and ran through 2023 when it was cancelled after stars Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie Chrisley were found guilty on federal charges of bank fraud, tax evasion, and submitting false documents in order to take out loans. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie was sentenced to 7 years. The couple have maintained their innocence, and daughter Savannah Chrisley has been vocal about her support for her parents since their conviction. Along with Chrisley Knows Best, the show has spawned several spin-offs including According to Chrisley, What's Cooking with Julie Chrisley, and Growing Up Chrisley, which followed Chase and Savannah as they embarked "on a road trip from Nashville to Los Angeles to prove their independence." Riveting stuff I'm sure, but unfortunately that show was also cancelled, lasting only four seasons after premiering in 2019. But apparently, Todd and Julie aren't the only Chrisleys who aren't able to stay out of legal trouble. According to WSB-TV, Chase Chrisley was arrested recently in Atlanta after an altercation with a manager at popular "breastaurant" chain Twin Peaks. Chrisley was reportedly drunk at the restaurant on January 6th when he became belligerent after being asked to leave. According to audio of the 911 call from the manager, manager Brandon Nash repeatedly told Chrisley not to touch him, telling the dispatcher that a guest became aggressive after being asked to leave and had assaulted him with his hand. The manager described Chrisley as "belligerently drunk," and yelling could be heard in the background of the call as Nash described Chrisley to the dispatcher. Nash tells the dispatcher that Chrisley has a driver who is "being very polite" and trying to get him to leave, and at one point Chrisley apparently slapped the manager again while he was on the phone with police. "He just slapped me in the face again." Chrisley eventually left with his driver before police arrived, with the manager telling the dispatcher that he was gone by the time they got off the phone. https://twitter.com/TMZ/status/1877104064494023094 The reality show star was arrested on January 9th on suspicion of simple battery, and was booked into jail before later being released on a $10,000 bond. Chrisley hasn't released a statement on the incident, but it sounds like this family just can't seem to stay out of legal trouble. https://twitter.com/wsbtv/status/1878366374906495019
