![Nikki Glaser Jabs Golden Globe Attendees With Brutal Diddy Joke: “After Party’s Not Going To Be As Good This Year”]()

It was no Ricky Gervais, but still pretty good.
I'm going to guess that nobody reading this tuned into the 82nd Golden Globe Awards last night (or even cares about them). I'll be honest, I had no idea they were even happening until I started seeing tweets about them last night, but it's not like I would have tuned in anyway.
The annual ceremony to honor "excellence in film and television" was hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, who's been popular for years but gained renewed attention in the wake of her brutal roast of Tom Brady during the Netflix roast of the legendary NFL quarterback last year.
Glaser was the first solo female host of the awards ceremony in the show's 82 year history, and was herself nominated for Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television for her special
Nikki Glaser: Someday You'll Die.
And while Glaser was expected to deliver some brutal roasts during her monologue since...well, that's kinda her thing, she assured the crowd that wasn't her intention:
"I'm not here to roast you. I want you to know that. How could I, really? You're all so famous, so talented, so powerful. You can really do anything...except tell the country who to vote for. But it's ok, you'll get 'em next time."
But she did get in some pretty good jabs - including one about disgraced rapper and producer Diddy.
The artist formerly known as Puff Daddy, and P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested back in September on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and prostitution amid bombshell allegations that he had hosted star-studded sex parties that he called "freak offs."
Since the allegations became public, there's been a lot of interest in exactly which celebrities attended these Diddy parties.
And Glaser decided to poke fun at the crowd at the Golden Globes over their potential involvement with the sexual predator.
While speaking with Zendaya, who was nominated for her role in romantic sports drama
Challengers, she threw in a jab at the attendees:
"Challengers, girl, oh my God, that was so good. That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy's credit card."
Glaser continued as the crowd groaned:
"I'm sorry, I'm upset too. The after party isn't going to be as good this year, but we have to move on.
The Stanley Tucci freak off just doesn't have the same ring to it. No baby oil this year, just lots of olive oil."
Brutal.
Of course some people weren't fans of the joke, finding it distasteful to joke about someone who is accused of sex trafficking:

But if they thought that was bad, former host Ricky Gervais (who delivered one of the most brutal takedowns of Hollywood we've ever seen in his monologue while hosting the show back in 2020) revealed the jokes he would have made had he been hosting again. And they made Glaser's jab look pretty tame:

God, we need him back at these shows. I might actually tune in (for the monologue) if we get something like this again:
