Forrie J Smith

Forrie J. know something we don't? It's been a couple weeks since the Series Finale of Taylor Sheridan's flagship series, Yellowstone, and while a modern-day spinoff series, The Madison, is on the way, as well as a confirmed Rip and Beth spinoff series starring Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, fans were still pretty sad to see the show go. Although, some jumped ship after Season 4 and were more than happy to see the ship finally sink. Of course, Kevin Costner's exit probably had a lot to do with it... Nevertheless, the show had a great run, and while I won't put it in the upper echelons of television history with the likes of Breaking Bad and The Wire, it was pretty entertaining and maybe I'll revisit it in a few years. Eh... maybe... In the meantime, we still have the second season of 1923 debuting next month, as well as another prequel series set in the 40s that has already been green lit. And if that wasn't enough, Yellowstone star Forrie J. Smith, who plays loyal ranch hand Lloyd on the show, took to Instagram to send fans an encouraging message. "Hey Yellowstone addicts, I would stay together... One, out of honor to Codey Ring, and two... Taylor Sheridan, he ain't said it's over." https://www.instagram.com/p/DEajRXutZix/?hl=en For some added context, Yellowstone Addicts is the name of a popular fan group that Codey Ring, an Air Force veteran, helped to organize. She passed away in December of 2023, and at the time, Forrie shared a touching eulogy on his Instagram page. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0uoEBNspSW/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=c2633d39-b249-449a-88a0-09ce6bc6e4c6 So part of his message is encouraging that fan group to stick together in her honor... but the other part sounds a little more like Forrie has some inside information? Maybe he's just alluding to the aforementioned spinoff series that have already been announced, but maybe... there's more on the horizon. 1923 Season 2

Is it February yet? Last month, Paramount Network officially announced that their critically-acclaimed second prequel series, 1923, was finally going to release Season 2. It's been a long, long wait since Season 1 first premiered back in 2022, and it goes without saying, but fans have been getting really annoyed with the long break. But now, it's official.... 1923 Season 2 will officially premiere on Paramount+ on February 23rd. During the Yellowstone Series Finale, Paramount+ dropped the action-packed Season 2 trailer... and I have to say, it looks pretty damn good. If you haven't seen Season 1 yet, I won't get into any spoilers, but we know that Spencer is on his way back to Montana, after a number of years in Africa hunting lions, but he's looking to save the ranch from the likes of Donald Whitfield and Banner Creighton... who a threatening the very way of life that the Duttons have worked to build. And with a cast featuring the likes of Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford, Timothy Dalton, Brandon Sklenar, Jerome Flynn and more, it's bound to be pretty epic. Check out the Season 2 trailer for a quick preview on what you can expect. It's time to get excited.
