![Brianna Chickenfry Called Out For Allegedly Blindsiding Her Best Friend Of 15 Years, Grace O’Malley, With Podcast Update: “My First Time Hearing This”]()
![Plan Bri Uncut]()
You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.
The high profile breakup between the Barstool Sports podcast host Brianna Chickenfry and country music star Zach Bryan was all the rage back in October and November. Bri insisted that she was “blindsided” by the breakup, and ever since it went public, she hasn’t shied away from letting all of her fans and followers all of the ins and outs of her relationship with the “Something in the Orange” singer.
And the situation only escalated when Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and
BFFs cohost Josh Richards dropped a Zach Bryan diss track called
“Smallest Man.”
Chickenfry, whose real name is LaPaglia, has alleged a number of things since she and Bryan broke up. Brianna says she was
offered $12 million to sign an NDA after the breakup, stated that
Bryan offered her double the salary she was making at Barstool to quit, and just recently
threatened to share a video of Zach “whipping sh*t at her face” after he posted a
picture of the cat that he took from Bri – even though he “doesn’t like cats.”
To make a long story short, Bri has been ruthless when it’s come to unearthing alleged things about her relationship with Zach Bryan. And she’s also been very open sharing how her friends and family have come to her side to help her through this difficult time. However, now there's another controversy that Chickenfry is caught up in, only this time, she was the one that did the alleged blindsiding.
Chickenfry's friend of 15 years and former
PlanBri podcast cohost - Grace O'Malley - just announced that she was no longer with Barstool Sports. Many fans had speculated the friendship was going through a rocky period because it was known that O'Malley never liked Zach Bryan. There were also alleged messages that leaked on TikTok showing Brianna badmouthing Grace O'Malley.
Grace shared the announcement on her Instagram story, saying:
"I wanted you guys to hear from me first that this is my last day at Barstool. I'm so grateful to everyone at the company and to Dave (Portnoy) for taking a chance on me."

As to why she ended up leaving Barstool, it appears that O'Malley was somewhat forced out when Brianna Chickenfry ended her
PlanBri Uncut podcast and then announced that a new version of the podcast would be coming out in the new year. Grace O'Malley, a cohost of the podcast since 2022, found out about the "new version" of the show along with everyone else online.
O'Malley revealed in an Instagram story that she was a bit blindsided by the announcement and that it was the first time she had heard the version with her was no longer moving forward:
"I'm proud of what we built, nostalgic for all these years and frankly outright heartbroken that this chapter has closed. But, we agreed to make a joint statement, so I replied, cried, and chose not to repost or say anything until it was time. On that same day, you might’ve seen Brianna post that she’s ‘working on bringing back some version of PlanBri.’ To give you guys the much needed info you deserve, all I can say is that that was my first time hearing about this.”
Hmm... agreed to make a joint statement about the public split, only to be left out? Blindsided by a break up? Seems like there are a number of similarities to this podcast split and the high-profile split between Bryan and Chickenfry. Not trying to point fingers or anything, but that very same behavior by Bryan had many turning on him... and now Brianna could be guilty of handling things the same way.
Bri has defended herself and her actions through the
PlanBri breakup, saying on the
BFFs Pod that since Grace didn't like Zach Bryan (and never did), she wasn't ever trying to help Chickenfry when her relationship with the country star went south:
"She knew everything behind the scenes. When the internet started attacking me, they only lifted Grace up when they were beating me down. And it was, like, whatever, because it helped her career and she was fine and happy about it.
But it got to a point where she was never defending me. We're sitting there, pretending to be friends and I didn't feel seen by her, (so I) set a boundary. I gave her everything and I would do it all over again."
Gave her everything? That's a pretty bold statement from Brianna Chickenfry. O'Malley did use her platform on the
PlanBri Uncut podcast to kickstart a stand-up comedy career, but many have taken issue with that "gave her everything" statement from Chickenfry.
All in all, it's another ugly breakup for Brianna Chickenfry. And the internet - which recently was coming to her side to defend her during her Zach Bryan break up - has now come to defend Grace O'Malley:
