![‘Yellowstone’ Cast Reveals What They Took From Set To Remember Their Characters & Time On The Show]()
![Yellowstone culture]()
Yellowstone is officially over, and we now know the future of the Dutton Ranch and all of the characters we've come to know and love over the years.
I won't give away any spoilers, but it ended up being a pretty good ending, even if it was kind of predictable and slow in terms of the second half of this season.
And when a show like this comes to an end, one that has become so massive and run for years now, the cast usually has a hard time saying goodbye because they've all become so close and a huge part of each others lives. So of course, much of the Yellowstone cast wanted to take a souvenir to remember their characters by, and they revealed what they took from set in a recent interview.
Wes Bentley, who plays Jamie Dutton, says he didn't want to take anything with Jamie's "bad energy":
"You know what, I normally would've and it probably would've been smart to take one of those tailored suits with me, but I kinda had a feeling with Jamie that, he's got such bad energy and vibes all around, and it's such a challenge playing him, I was doubting I would really want to carry anything with me into my normal life. I'm kinda ready to drop it all."
Gil Birmingham, who plays Tribal Chairman Thomas Rainwater, gave a very diplomatic, yet heartfelt response, saying he took away an amazing experience and got to be part of TV history:
"I love these questions that you do CSI things that you're trying to have me indict myself. Yeah, I hope they don't miss those saddles I walked out with. No, I think the most precious thing that I walk away with is the experience with such an amazing group of people and the opportunity to be part of, you know, television history, essentially."
Kelly Reilly, who plays fan-favorite Beth Dutton, revealed that she took a lighter, which she often had a tough time getting to work because of the wind, as well as some dresses she had bought for Beth to wear onscreen:
"I have a lighter, some of my dresses, I've got some of them, there were some that I had bought for Beth, so I got to take them home. But I definitely have a lighter, that's sort of my, my Beth keepsake."
Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, took just his iconic cowboy hat and jacket:
"Well, I took my cowboy hat, and my jacket."
Lastly, Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton, also took his recognizable jacket and cowboy hat, saying he plans to actually wear it some and eventually frame it for his office:
"I did, and I didn't steal it, I asked for permission. Thank you, Johnetta. Our costume designer gave me my jacket and Kayce's hat. Which are like, you know, the two kind of, the wardrobe, that makes him look like himself.
So I got to keep those, which was cool. I'm gonna make a little Kayce mannequin, and I'm gonna put it in my window. I might from the jacket and put it in my office, I just feel like it was a life changing thing, you know... I might wear it, too, for a little while."
Kelly joked that she heard Paramount was going to give her Beth's Bentley, too:
"I heard that Paramount was gonna give me the Bentley, which is really nice. So I'm just waiting for that to arrive."
Now that would be a helluva parting gift...
