![Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa Says He’s Hired Security Amid String Of NFL Break-Ins: “They Are Armed… Think Twice”]()

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa isn't messing around.
And who can blame him? The recent string of high-profile home break ins have been concerning to say the least. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is the latest NFL player to have his home broken into while he was competing. According to police reports, someone broke into Burrow's home around 8 PM... right in the middle of the Bengals clash with the Dallas Cowboys.
Luckily, a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model was there at the Cincinnati QB's residence to call the police shortly after the break in occurred (
that's a true story). But other NFL players weren't as lucky. Early on in the season, Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had
their homes broken into, and only found out after they returned home. Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Linval Joseph also had his house burglarized back in November.
It's believed that organized and skilled criminal groups are carrying out these calculated home invasions. Sources have even reported that the FBI is investigating the pattern of crime as international organized crime. Things have become so concerning that the NFL sent out a security memo to all of its players, advising them to take precautions such as "not posting in real time on social media, installing security systems and keeping valuables out of plain sight."
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has gone a step further. When he was asked about the series of break ins at a recent press conference, the left-handed QB cut right to the chase and told media members that he had hired personal security to not only protect his home, but more importantly his family.
And that was all kickstarted when Tua had one his cars broken into:
"I have personal security just because... my house had gotten broken into. Not necessarily my house, but one of my cars. It was a little too close for my comfort with my family being in the house."
Understandable.
Tagovailoa clarified that when he isn't at his home while the Dolphins are on the road, there are armed guards at his house watching over the property and his family if they happen to still be there. He dismounted from his answer by somewhat threatening - or maybe even
daring - the crime syndicate to try and break into his home:
"We got personal security to take care of all of that when we're on the road. We've got someone with my wife, we've got someone also at the house - surveying the house. So just let that be known... they are armed. I hope if you decide to go to my house, you think twice."

We hear you loud and clear Tua.
This might be a smart thing for all famous professional athletes to do with their time with the media, right? If there is a transnational crime ring stalking the home of pro athletes all across the country, they would at the very least benefit from
saying that there are armed guards defending their homes while they are away...
