![“Season Finale?” – ‘Yellowstone’ Fans STILL Think Another Season Is Coming]()
![Yellowstone]()
People.... let it go. This is the final season of
Yellowstone, and after tonight, there will only be more episode... the Series Finale.
However, since
Yellowstone has continued to refer to the upcoming finale as the
Season Finale, some fans still think there's another season coming and that Taylor Sheridan and Paramount Network are dropping hints with this kind of
Season Finale language.

It's not happening, folks. And I admit that the Season Finale language seems intentional, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. It can be a Season Finale AND a Series Finale.
Don't get me wrong, I'm down for more, and would be happy to be incorrect about this...
Yellowstone is content machine that makes me money on content, merch, playlist follows, etc... but the ship has sailed. Costner is gone, the story is coming to a close, and that's all she wrote. The only possibility for it actually continuing, would to be a spinoff of sorts that keeps the
Yellowstone name. Seems silly to me...
Of course, there WILL be more prequels and more modern day spinoffs in the works, so there will be more to the Dutton story, but
Yellowstone as we know it is coming to an end... a bittersweet end.
So buckle up... there's only two more episodes left, and something tells me it's going to be a bloody reckoning.

Like I said, there's definitely more on the way from Taylor Sheridan so let's take a quick look at everything we KNOW is coming down the pipeline:
1923 Season 2
It took a long time but just the other day, it was finally announced that
1923 Season 2 will officially premiere on Paramount+ on February 23rd.
Lion hunter and adventurer Spencer Dutton is making his way back home to Montana from Africa, and once he arrives, all hell is going to break loose as he tries to help the Dutton family save the ranch from Donald Whitfield and Banner Creighton.

The Madison
Paramount has confirmed that the new, modern day spinoff series will star Michelle Pfeiffer and will be called
The Madison, and it will also feature Patrick J Adams, Elle Chapman and Beau Garrett.
The series has been described as a "heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana."
1944 Prequel
Paramount has confirmed that another
Yellowstone prequel series is in the works, titled
1944. Based on the timeline of the show,
1944 should chronicle the story of John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) father, John Dutton II and his journey to carry forward the Dutton empire amid the trying times of World War II.
Modern Day Spinoff
Paramount has also previously
announced a contemporary spinoff series, that was initially rumored to star Matthew McConaughey, with the working title of
2024. Of course, with 2024 nearing its end, that definitely won't be the title, and my hunch as that the modern day spinoff series will be focused around the 6666's Ranch... a spinoff that has been talked about for awhile.
It could potentially star some of the original cast of
Yellowstone, to carry forward the modern day Dutton story. If I was a betting man, I'd say Jefferson White's character Jimmy could be the star?
There's a lot to be excited about... but
Yellowstone Season 6 isn't it.
