Shocking Ranch Hand Death Leaves Yellowstone Fans Stunned In Latest Episode, “Counting Coup”

WHAT!? How you gonna do him like that, Taylor? We're quickly approaching the Yellowstone series finale, with just two episodes left after tonight. And writer/creator Taylor Sheridan used tonight's episode, "Counting Coup," to just sit back and rip our hearts out. Spoiler Alert: If you're not caught up yet.... scroll on through... It started with Jimmy finding out about the death of John Dutton from Travis because Rip didn't have the heart to tell him. Jimmy was visibly shaken... it was pretty gut-wrenching. But it got worse... Later in the episode, Carter is giving water to an angry stud when he gets cornered by the aggressive horse and Colby comes to the rescue. However, while Carter gets away, Colby takes a kick to the chest and then a fatal stomp to the head... he was killed instantly. A tragic scene no doubt, perhaps one of the heaviest of the entire series... I mean, Colby? What did he ever do to anyone? And right after he told Teeter he loved her for the first time? I guess I should've seen it coming after that....
