Charles Barkley Rips Democrats For Having No Solutions In 2024 Presidential Campaign: “You Guys Lost Because Y’all Stupid”

Charles Barkley will always tell it like it is. The great thing about the "Round Mound of Rebound" is that he's never been on one side or the other. Even though the former basketball star and current sports personality has voiced his support for Kamala Harris in the past, he's really for one thing and one thing only. Common sense. Chuck is a no nonsense type of guy, and he's voiced that on any and every platform he's been a part of. So when he sat down with fellow Inside The NBA co-host Ernie Johnson for their Steam Room podcast, Barkley decided that he wanted to talk about politics before the episode got going. Charles first congratulated former President Donald Trump for winning back the White House, then promptly ripped the democrats for complaining and finger-pointing after the election: "I want to congratulate President elect Trump. Y'all won fair and square. I want to congratulate you and I want you to do the best for the American people. Because I've got some numbers here. 75 million people voted for President elect Trump. 71 million people voted for Kamala Harris... I wish him nothing but the best, but we lost. And I just want to say this to the Democrats, I’m an Independent who voted Democratic. Do me this favor, shut the f**k up! When you win you get to say what you want to, when you lose you need to shut the hell up." Damn Chuck! Tell us how you really feel. That wasn't all that Barkley had to say. In fact, that fiery start barely scratched the surface. Charles continued by detailing why he thought Harris and the Democratic party lost the election, saying that all of the "star power" that Kamala's campaign boasted was really just a waste of time and money: "We lost because we had no game plan. We still haven’t solved the immigration problem - have no viable answers - and never addressed inflation. Bringing all these stupid stars out to rally the vote? What was that? I love Beyoncé. That ain’t gonna make me vote a certain type of way... You guys lost because y’all stupid. Come up with solutions. I don’t think everybody who voted for Trump is racist or whatever. I’m not a fan of the guy, but he’s the president, I’m gonna have to respect the office." And let me remind you that this is all coming from someone who voted for Kamala Harris. Charles didn't shy away from that fact, but made sure to be clear that just because he voted that way didn't mean that he was going to be against Trump. He congratulated the president elect multiple times throughout his rant, and then closed with this quote that a lot of Americans likely agree with: "People can vote for who they want to. I voted for Kamala. But like I said, we didn’t win…it’s all our faults for not having a game plan. We’re not having concerts and rallies. People want solutions, they want money in their pocket, they want the border secure. You know what I really want to do? I want to walk into a pharmacy and grab some toothpaste, grab some deodorant, and be out in five to seven minutes. I don't want all the sh*t locked up. I don't want to have to push a button and wait 15 minutes for somebody to come. I want people to stop running in stores and stop robbing people.
