“That Was Fairly Aggressive” – Pat McAfee & College GameDay Panel Stunned By LSU’s “Suck That Tiger D**k B****!” Chant

Pat McAfee

Raise your hand if you knew this was a thing, because Pat McAfee evidently did not. The ESPN College GameDay crew pulled up to Baton Rouge in advance of LSU's clash with Alabama this evening, and McAfee fired up the crowd with a most unconventional call-and-response chant. McAfee kicked things off by yelling, "AY-OH!" I'm used to that at live sporting events, where the fans just echo that exact same thing. It would appear at LSU that the answer is quite different indeed. That answer? "Suck that Tiger d**k b****!" Give it a listen. https://twitter.com/awfulannouncing/status/1855254702323322999 I mean sure why not. Am I showing my age by saying that this is kind of off-putting? Probably. The really wild behavior was McAfee firing up the chant again, and the fact that ESPN didn't bleep out or censor anything. Like surely they have some kind of broadcast/tape delay situation, right? Either the producers didn't really care or that's just not the case. The state of Florida, waht with all its Florida Men like Lieutenant Dan and what have you, is kind of its own offshoot of the Southern region. Somehow, buried in the depths of my mind, I recalled when Sunshine State native/Florida State alum Brooks Koepka was reading mean tweets earlier this year, and somebody said to him the exact thing Saturday's LSU College GameDay assembly chanted. https://twitter.com/NUCLRGOLF/status/1801310474836890002 Totally thought this was in reference to Tiger Woods. Unless that's the most absurd coincidence ever, I interpreted that completely wrong at the time. Not a perfect analogy, but it reminds me of how Rick must've felt when he found out the age-old adage was to not take life for "granted" as opposed to "granite." Classic slant homophone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP-Wd453wq4 Anyway, LSU stans are not at all intimidated by the Crimson Tide, despite being 2.5-point home underdogs last I looked. Even if they were 10-point dogs, they'd be just as defiant and enthusiastic, which is part of what makes SEC football hit a little different. As many football games do, I think tonight's game will come down to quarterback play. Since I have bets on both Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, given my recent luck, I fully expect Bama's Jalen Milroe and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier — the only other QB competition to be the first pick — to combine for, like, 700 total yards. Not even exaggerating. Milroe in particular was viewed as a favorite to go No. 1 until he started kind of s******g the bed. Nussmeier has thrown seven interceptions in his last four starts, including three in his last game, which was a loss to Texas A&M. The 11th-ranked Crimson Tide and No. 15 Tigers are both 6-2, with this contest serving as a huge one for their College Football Playoff hopes. Only the top 12 teams make it, and time is running out to separate from the rest of the national pack. We'll see if LSU's fellatio-themed chant proves to be a foreshadowing catalyst of victory to come, or if Bama goes the Michael Jordan, "and I took that personally" route and annihilates the Tigers on their home field.
