Joining her daughter-in-law in supporting Trump. Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, found herself at the center of controversy earlier this year after liking a post from former President Donald Trump on Instagram. Over the past year or so, Brittany has become close friends with pop superstar Taylor Swift, who's obviously the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift has been an outspoken supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, and has spoken out against Trump in the past, so her hardcore fans weren't too happy to learn that one of her good friends was a Trump supporter. Swifties were even upset that Taylor and Brittany were spotted hanging out over the summer when the two couples spent time together at the US Open, because apparently having friends from the opposite side of the political aisle isn't acceptable in this day and age. (I'm saying that with a heavy dose of sarcasm, in case that wasn't clear). But anyway, Brittany didn't seem too bothered by the criticism, sharing a story to her Instagram calling out her "haters" as having "deep rooted issues." And eagle-eyed followers even noticed that she was continuing to like pro-Trump comments on her own posts, despite not speaking out directly on her political views. Mama Mahomes, though, apparently isn't afraid to let people know who she's voting for. But over the past few weeks, we've seen several fans get in trouble for trying to wear their Trump gear to a game. But it seems like with just one day left to go until election day, more and more people are using NFL games to make their political opinions known.
