Yankees fans are trying to take matters into their own hands.
Can you blame them? The New York Yankees entered into the decisive Game 4 of the World Series down 3 to nothing, and needing a win to avoid an embarrassing sweep on baseball's biggest stage. The matchup between the MLB's two highest payrolls was hyped up like it was a series for the ages.
In reality, it's been a beat down ever since the first pitch of the World Series was thrown. Aaron Judge has been a ghost, managing only a single hit through the first three games, and a ton of strikeouts on top of it. But really, he's been a ghost for most of the playoffs. And unfortunately for the Yankees, the rest of the lineup hasn't been much better.
That LA-beating-up-on-NY trend continued into Game 4 as the Dodgers jumped out to an early lead in the top of the first inning. So when the inning rolled over, some unruly Yankees fans sitting on the first base line of Yankee Stadium decided that if a ball came their way, they'd do everything in their power to interfere with the competition to help their beloved Pinstripers.
And when a foul ball was hit towards them, and Dodgers outfield Mookie Betts chased it down and caught it with his glove partially in the stands, the Yankees fans proceeded to try and rip the ball out of Mookie's glove.
They succeeded, but it was ultimately ruled an out due to "Fan Interference." So these unsportsmanlike sports fan likely got kicked out of the World Series (no telling how much they paid for those tickets) for nothing:

Sheesh... that's just inexcusable behavior. Grabbing his arm over the fence like that? Could've broken his arm.
And social media made sure to let the world know that. These Yankees fans have basically become public enemy numbers one (and two), and those in the reply section of the MLB's post made sure to call them out:
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Dodgers by a million after seeing that video. Any chance of me rooting for New York to complete a historic World Series comeback went out the window when those Yankees fans acted like children.
Hopefully, they were quickly removed from the stadium...
Oh, and if you noticed the score in that video above, that 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first for the Dodgers was thanks to yet another Freddie Freeman homerun. He's gotten hot in the World Series, hitting at least one dinger in every game that's been played in the Fall Classic.
Freddie's got World Series MVP locked up:
