Throwback To Deion Sanders Falling To The Floor Laughing After Joe Theismann Accidentally Says “Danny Woodcock”

An oldie, but a goodie. After Deion Sanders NFL playing career was over, and long before he was the head coach at the University of Colorado, "Prime Time" was trying out a career in media. So in 2011, the former football standout was a part of the NFL Network's coverage, and the star-studded crew was covering Bill Belichick's dynasty. During that time, the New England Patriots were loaded, with Tom Brady at quarterback, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez at the tight end position, and the shifty, fantasy-football-legend Danny Woodhead at running back. As the old saying goes, you couldn't stop them. You could only hope to contain them. Former quarterback Joe Theismann was talking about exactly that when he accidentally misspoke and mixed up the one player's name that you don't want to mix up: "You can do what you want with your corners against New England, but you still have Gronkowski and Hernandez to deal with at the tight end position. And don't forget Danny Woodcock out of the backfield." The cackling and laughter almost immediately ensued, with Deion Sanders grabbing at his side and proceeding to fall out of his chair and onto the floor. Theismann tried to correct his mistake, but it was far too late. The studio - and his fellow NFL Network colleagues - were already laughing their you-know-whats off over the tiny (but major) switching of "head" and "cock." If you are wondering why I wrote about it all these years later, it's because the laughter rolls on for a solid minute until it finally dies down. They weren't airing the show live, so it never made it to air and the moment ultimately became a blooper.
